Premiere: Innovative drive technology CompactDrive Automatic Shift

The Agritechnica, leading international trade fair for agricultural equipment, will once again welcome industry experts from around the world from 8 to 14 November 2015 in Hannover. This event also serves as an innovation showcase for SAUER BIBUS from Neu-Ulm, to give international visitors inspiration and solutions to issues regarding the future.

The focus of this exhibition from SAUER BIBUS, specialist for hydraulic drive technology, is the presentation of the new transmission “CompactDrive Automatic Shift”, whose development was centred on customer requests for higher drive performance and traction power at reduced energy consumption. Drive requirements for construction machinery, tractors and municipal vehicles are demanding and extremely versatile. Energy efficiency and the various requirements for off- and on-road operation were the basis for the market-oriented development of this high-power drive.

The core of this ultra-modern drive innovation from SAUER BIBUS is an integrated, quickly adjustable gear range with 45° hydrostatics, currently unique on the market. This technology can cover a very large conversion range. Special switching elements and sensors, which synchronise the input and output speed electronically, and a specially developed adjustment enable fast, low-noise and low-wear switching action. Automatic adjustment of the power requirements allows seamless switching throughout the complete speed range.
Special add-on: The extremely compact housing construction and the option of adapting the gearing mechanism to meet customer specifications by our development department.

The economic added value for the user is obvious, since this innovative technology significantly reduces overall costs. In addition, the automatic load switching capacity with torque and switching monitoring guarantees optimal user-friendliness. Ralf Schrempp, Managing Director of SAUER BIBUS, is convinced that “an intelligent, future-oriented drive is the solution to the continuously increasing cost pressure on the total costs.
